Section 30 Subarea Plan
Section 30 is a 540-acre former quarry site in east Vancouver located on the west side of 192nd Avenue and north 1st Street. The site was annexed to the City in 2008 and has long been viewed for potential long term mixed use economic development. A Subarea Plan was adopted in 2009 to guide future development, and the City is currently exploring options for incentivizing more housing and mixed use projects, while discouraging low employment industrial uses.
